How does the Hyapen work?
The Hyaluron Pen is a needle-free device that shoots hyaluronic acid (HA) in the lips through the use of high pressure – the pressure from the pen is strong enough to force the HA gel into the skin. This technique is less invasive than a filler treatment performed with a needle.
What is Hyaluronic Acid Gel?
Hyaluronic acid gel volumizes, shapes and lifts your skin. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a sugar found naturally in skin that can hold a thousand times its weight in water, keeping skin hydrated and plump. As we age, the amount of HA—along with collagen and elastin— decreases, resulting in wrinkles, fine lines, shadows, and other signs of aging.
Does it hurt?
We do all that we can to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. Some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it’s relatively pain free for most clients.
Is the touch-up neccessary?
Yes, we recommend getting touch ups as you would to maintain a hairstyle. If you’d like to build up in size very quickly, we ask that you come back every 2 weeks until you’ve achieved the desired size. We will never let you go “too big,” your facial harmony is always our highest consideration.
If you are happy after 1 session, we generally won’t see you again for 4-6 months. The more sessions you have done, the longer the product lasts in the lips.

Are you a candidate?

You may not be a candiate if any of the following applies to you:
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding shouldn’t undergo a treatment involving hyaluronic acid.
- Diabetes
- Various infections
- Allergies to alcohol or hyaluronic acid
- Immune system diseases

Lateness
Guest should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointments to allow time to fill out paperwork and get settled in. Late arrivals will be cancelled and deposits may be forfeited.
Cancellations
Please allow 7 days or more notice when rescheduling your appointment. All deposits/payments are non-refundable. If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment time or if you reschedule with less than 7 days notice, your payment will be forfeited. If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. Additional deposits will be required to reschedule your appointment if you give less than 7 days notice.
Guests
Due to the nature of our aesthetic services, we kindly request that you arrive unaccompanied to your appointment unless the companion is also receiving a treatment as part of our “Bring a Friend” deal. We very strictly do not allow boyfriends, hubbys, wives, children, and/or pets to accompany you into the studio. There are many coffee shops, restaurants and bars in our neighborhood, if your guest(s) would like to wait close by for you to complete your appointment.
Deposits
A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due immediately upon booking to secure all appointments. This deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your appointment and will be deducted from the total cost of your initial session. The remaining balance will be charged upon completion of your appointment.
