Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are by far one of the best ways to jumpstart you towards your skin goals. At Heavenly Aesthetics, we offer 4 types of chemical peels, glycolic acid, mandelic acid, Jessner's and TCA. 

When done in sets of 6, professional grade glycolic acid peels have been shown to treat acne scars, as well as fine lines and wrinkles, excess pigmentation, and dryness. Glycolic acid peels are your classic, "Lunch Time Peel." Making them early to recover from, with relatively no down time! You can even apply makeup the next day. Professional grade glycolic acid peels can be repeated 3-4 weeks apart.

Mandelic acid peels are great for those with darker skin, sensitive skin and acne. Fun Fact: mandelic acid is extracted from almonds! These peels are more gentle due to mandelic acid's large molecular size which prevents it from being absorbed too quickly into the skin and causing irritation. Like glycolic acid peels, they have little to no down time and need to be done in sets of 6-8 to see the full result. These peels can be done 1-2 weeks apart. 

We also offer superficial Jessner's peels. This type of peel is great for darker skin tones, signs of aging, hyperpigmentation and those with oily skin. Jessner peels at a low strength produce little to no flaking and can be repeated every 1-2 weeks. As with the last 2 peels, they need to be done in a set of 6 to see the full result. 

TCA peels often reveal amazing results after just 1 or 2 peels. These low percentage TCA peels are safe for all skin types and have been shown to dramatically improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, dull skin, wrinkles, acne-prone skin, uneven skin tone, and texture. TCA peel results can last for one year, and can be repeated every 12 months or every 6 weeks during the fall and winter months.
